Slumdog Millionaires.
The movie started with Jamal Malik as the main actor, his brother Salim, and a nowhere girl, Latika. Jamal is on of the staff in the public service call center. Through his poor background, he was able to answer all the questions that is being provided by the show, and became a millionaire. Before the last question that worth twenty thousand rupees, the time for the show was up, so Jamal will continue to answer the question fot the next day. Unfortunately, because of his uneducated background and he was able to answer all the question on the quiz, Jamal are arrested in charge of being cheating to the quiz. Investigation is being done on him, asking him how he could have answered all the questions. From the question, they movie will provide all the flashback memories that was experienced by Jamal Malik, which will also be the answer for the question that was given. At the next day, after the investigation was done, he was released from the investigation, and returned to the TV show to answer his final question. On the other, Latika is trying to come to his show but the street was totally in jam. She was trying to escape from the boss where Salim was working with. Salim had sacrifices himself to let her escape. When Jamal hear the final question, he said that he doesn’t know the answer, so he use his life chances that is given by the quiz. He was able to call a friend, which he meant to call Salim. Latika answer the phone right in the last minute. Life chance that he used was no use because Latika was in blank about the question. Movie Review: “Slumdog Millionaire”
This movie comes with a good story flow. It can hold so many stories about Jamal without living the main story which is how Jamal hardly tried to be together with his true love Latika, (Freida Pinto). Moreover, this movie also shows many kinds of message for the watcher. For example, from this movie we can learn that despite of many obstacle that it may face, love will certainly find its way to bring two people together. From this movie we can also see how strong is the between Jamal and his brother Salim (Madhur Mittal). Even though Salim can also be really bad to Jamal, he was always there when Jamal needs his help. Other than that the movie also shows about how people underestimate the people from the slum and also how hard it is to life in the slum.
I certainly loved the ending where after so many struggles Jamal and Latika can finally be together. I also like the scene where Salim seems to be, finally, regret what he had done to Jamal in the past and decided to help Jamal for the last time by helping Jamal and Latika to meet.
In conclusion, overall I like this movie because of its unique story and beautiful ending. I will certainly watch this movie again in some other spare time.
Slumdog Millionaire
Slumdog Millionaire is the only Indian film that I have ever watched that doesn’t emphasize on dancing and singing every 30 minutes. It has a powerful story that tells mainly about the life of slumdogs in mumbay. Friendship, love, hardship, and life are the main theme of the movie. From what I’ve heard from everyone, it is a great movie and I have to agree. I just finished watching the movie that I downloaded as I miss the movie screening on campus. But I think this is a great movie to watch
The main character Jamal Malik is just an ordinary staff in the call center. In contrast to his uneducated background and also a low paying job, he manages to answer all the questions in who wants to be a millionare TV show. Before the last question that is valued twenty thousand rupees, there is no time left, so they will continue on the following day. Unfortunately, because of his background Jamal are arrested in charge of fraud. Investigation is conducted on him, asking him how he knew the answers. From there, each of every question he tried to answer has a story behind it. Flashback happens a lot in this point where it tells about Jamal’s past that hold the key to the answer.
After a whole day investigation, he is released from the investigation. Jamal is back to the TV show to answer his final question. In the other hand, his lover, Latika is trying to reach jamal, escaping from a boss that jamal’s brother is working with. Jamal’s brother sacrifices himself to let her escape. When Jamal hear the final question, he said that he doesn’t know the answer so he use the last option, call a friend, which he meant to call his brother. Latika has the phone with her but she left it in the car when she watches the show on the street. Latika answer the phone by the skin of her teeth. In the end, she doesn’t know the answer. Jamal somehow get the right answer and he become a new millionaire. Then he meets Latika in the stations and then suddenly they dance with a lot of people.
For me this film is interesting, I don’t like the part where there are people suddenly dance. It really shows us the life of slumdog in mumbay where it is very harsh. But overall this film is worth to watch and teach us some morals also. In the end I recommend this film.

Slumdog Millionaire
Everything is answered as Jamal tells his background as he comes from street-kid upbringing and poverty stricken background. The day before Jamal his final quiz in the ‘Who wants to be a Millionaire’, he is taken to the police station to confess his cheating.
Here, the film begins to unfold as Jamal narrates his past life and proves how each chapter of his life helped him answer the questions of the show. It is here that the narrator impressively shuttles between past and present, injecting provocative flashbacks in the film which captures Jamal’s vibrant childhood to his current day life journey. Jamal’s emotional upheaval after losing his mother and childhood sweetheart Latika, his tryst with destiny and differences with brother Salim then form the story of Slumdog, rather a success story of Jamal who wins against all odds.
The film focuses on how Jama reaches the story rather than highlighting his surroundings, thus making the film’s theme global.
As a person having the knowledge of a child being blinded to earn money by a local rogue, a mother being slaughtered by a religious fanatic in front of her children, girls forced into prostitution, children exploiting foreigners, it is preferable to choose to turn a blind eye towards the life.
Slumdog presents a simple tale of survival, love and longing set in Mumbai. The film romances Mumbai without enhancing its beauty or degrading its character, it makes you love the city, just the way it is.
