On Tuesday, 24 June 2008, the university protesters made violence at the Sudirman Street in front of the Atmajaya University, they stopped one of the government's cars, and then they destroyed it by set it on fire. And they even destroyed the Police vehicles that parks near at the Semanggi Bridge. There aren't any Police or patrol secured the area at that time, people are very scared to go near at the Sudirman Street. "A spokeswoman from the university told Elshinta radio that the protesters were not Atmajaya students. She added her students were still taking the university final exams when the incident occurred." She also asserted that the protesters filed for dispute into the death of Maftuh Fauzi, he was the student from National University that caught and tortured by the Police. In this case, the protesters also complained about the hikes of fuel price. Finally, about 6:48 PM, the demonstration ended after the large number of Police arrived to the location.

Bagio-
Interesting comments from the Jakarta Post article. You did a good job of citing the source, which is very important. Providing the link is crucial if someone wants to learn more about the story.
Are you worried about the demonstrations?
