Slumdog Millionaires.
The movie started with Jamal Malik as the main actor, his brother Salim, and a nowhere girl, Latika. Jamal is on of the staff in the public service call center. Through his poor background, he was able to answer all the questions that is being provided by the show, and became a millionaire. Before the last question that worth twenty thousand rupees, the time for the show was up, so Jamal will continue to answer the question fot the next day. Unfortunately, because of his uneducated background and he was able to answer all the question on the quiz, Jamal are arrested in charge of being cheating to the quiz. Investigation is being done on him, asking him how he could have answered all the questions. From the question, they movie will provide all the flashback memories that was experienced by Jamal Malik, which will also be the answer for the question that was given. At the next day, after the investigation was done, he was released from the investigation, and returned to the TV show to answer his final question. On the other, Latika is trying to come to his show but the street was totally in jam. She was trying to escape from the boss where Salim was working with. Salim had sacrifices himself to let her escape. When Jamal hear the final question, he said that he doesn’t know the answer, so he use his life chances that is given by the quiz. He was able to call a friend, which he meant to call Salim. Latika answer the phone right in the last minute. Life chance that he used was no use because Latika was in blank about the question. At the end Jamal get the answer correctly through his lucky guess and win the show.

Movie Review: “Slumdog Millionaire”
This movie comes with a good story flow. It can hold so many stories about Jamal without living the main story which is how Jamal hardly tried to be together with his true love Latika, (Freida Pinto). Moreover, this movie also shows many kinds of message for the watcher. For example, from this movie we can learn that despite of many obstacle that it may face, love will certainly find its way to bring two people together. From this movie we can also see how strong is the between Jamal and his brother Salim (Madhur Mittal). Even though Salim can also be really bad to Jamal, he was always there when Jamal needs his help. Other than that the movie also shows about how people underestimate the people from the slum and also how hard it is to life in the slum.
I certainly loved the ending where after so many struggles Jamal and Latika can finally be together. I also like the scene where Salim seems to be, finally, regret what he had done to Jamal in the past and decided to help Jamal for the last time by helping Jamal and Latika to meet.
In conclusion, overall I like this movie because of its unique story and beautiful ending. I will certainly watch this movie again in some other spare time.
Slumdog Millionaire
Slumdog Millionaire is the only Indian film that I have ever watched that doesn’t emphasize on dancing and singing every 30 minutes. It has a powerful story that tells mainly about the life of slumdogs in mumbay. Friendship, love, hardship, and life are the main theme of the movie. From what I’ve heard from everyone, it is a great movie and I have to agree. I just finished watching the movie that I downloaded as I miss the movie screening on campus. But I think this is a great movie to watch
The main character Jamal Malik is just an ordinary staff in the call center. In contrast to his uneducated background and also a low paying job, he manages to answer all the questions in who wants to be a millionare TV show. Before the last question that is valued twenty thousand rupees, there is no time left, so they will continue on the following day. Unfortunately, because of his background Jamal are arrested in charge of fraud. Investigation is conducted on him, asking him how he knew the answers. From there, each of every question he tried to answer has a story behind it. Flashback happens a lot in this point where it tells about Jamal’s past that hold the key to the answer.
After a whole day investigation, he is released from the investigation. Jamal is back to the TV show to answer his final question. In the other hand, his lover, Latika is trying to reach jamal, escaping from a boss that jamal’s brother is working with. Jamal’s brother sacrifices himself to let her escape. When Jamal hear the final question, he said that he doesn’t know the answer so he use the last option, call a friend, which he meant to call his brother. Latika has the phone with her but she left it in the car when she watches the show on the street. Latika answer the phone by the skin of her teeth. In the end, she doesn’t know the answer. Jamal somehow get the right answer and he become a new millionaire. Then he meets Latika in the stations and then suddenly they dance with a lot of people.
For me this film is interesting, I don’t like the part where there are people suddenly dance. It really shows us the life of slumdog in mumbay where it is very harsh. But overall this film is worth to watch and teach us some morals also. In the end I recommend this film.

Slumdog Millionaire
Everything is answered as Jamal tells his background as he comes from street-kid upbringing and poverty stricken background. The day before Jamal his final quiz in the ‘Who wants to be a Millionaire’, he is taken to the police station to confess his cheating.
Here, the film begins to unfold as Jamal narrates his past life and proves how each chapter of his life helped him answer the questions of the show. It is here that the narrator impressively shuttles between past and present, injecting provocative flashbacks in the film which captures Jamal’s vibrant childhood to his current day life journey. Jamal’s emotional upheaval after losing his mother and childhood sweetheart Latika, his tryst with destiny and differences with brother Salim then form the story of Slumdog, rather a success story of Jamal who wins against all odds.
The film focuses on how Jama reaches the story rather than highlighting his surroundings, thus making the film’s theme global.
As a person having the knowledge of a child being blinded to earn money by a local rogue, a mother being slaughtered by a religious fanatic in front of her children, girls forced into prostitution, children exploiting foreigners, it is preferable to choose to turn a blind eye towards the life.
Slumdog presents a simple tale of survival, love and longing set in Mumbai. The film romances Mumbai without enhancing its beauty or degrading its character, it makes you love the city, just the way it is.

Assignment: movie review Slumdog millionaire
When his lover went away without any hope to meet again, Jamal tried the last way which is join a quiz show in television called “Who Wants To Be a Millionaire”, one of Latika's favorite TV shows. By joining this show, Jamal hoped that Latika will see him in the TV and go back to meet him.
Nobody expected that Jamal, the office boy can answer all the questions one by one until he reached the final question for the 20 million rupee. For Jamal himself, it felt like his destiny because most of the questions that being asked made him remember his past. Every points in his important live, he got lots of knowledge that became the answers for each questions. From here, the film jumped to the past when little Jamal playing with his brother Salim, and his friends in the airport. No other place for them to play because the alley near their homes is too narrow to play marbles.
No amusement park, not enough chairs in the school, no appropriate toilet, and for bath and wash the clothes they do it in a public pool. One day when Jamal and Salim swim together in the public pool with their mother, a group of people from Hindi community came and attacked Jamal’s community which is Moslem community. A slash of a stick strike Jamal’s mother and made her die in the pool. Now only Jamal and Salim, running away to find a save place. In that scene, Jamal met Latika for the first time. They tried to survive together in a place where all the garbage collected.
One day, a male who claimed to be a person from the house of refugee, came to gave them a place and food. But after a while, that person that acted like a hero actually just wanted to use them to become a beggar.
Slumdog Millionaire shows all those stories in a realistic way. The density of the dirty settlement, crowded passenger in the top of a train, public restrooms that only uses a wall made from wood, and the asymmetry of a society that happens in Mumbai.
I think this movie is advancement in bollywood movies. Not like usual films from India, when in romantic movies, the actor and the actress always dancing and singing. Well, in this movie, the characters also dance, but it only at the ending of the film. A bollywood romantic movie should be like this, where they have to make an exciting story and lessen the dance and the sing.

Health effects of Shisha
i am a big fan of shisha. i went to a shisha cafe at lease 3 times in the last 2 months. I dont smoke, i just like the fruity flavour of a shisha and because of the innocent fruity taste, i thought that shisha is not that hazardous to your health, unlike ciggerates. But, when i was browsing through facebook, i found this facebook groups who is against shisha and i was interested to know the reasons why. And as i read tha facts about shisha, i was so surprise. It is a lot more hazardous than ciggerates.
A comparison of nicotine (the addictive component of tobacco) concentrations in body fluids reveals that a typical 45-minute shisha session exposes its user to the equivalent of 15 regular cigarettes worth of nicotine. And last week i got through 2 session of shisha in kemang, that makes it like 30 ciggerates in 90 minutes. and another interesting facts is the tobbacco use in a shisha, shisha tobacco to be 100-fold more concentrated in tar, 4-fold more concentrated in nicotine, and several-fold more concentrated in toxic heavy metals like nickel, arsenic, and cobalt. I was even more surprise ! About a month ago i enjoy about 3 session of shisha with 3 of my high school friends, but 1 of them refuse to even take a sip. So it's like 15 ciggerates in one night !
But, personally, i think it is hard to be addicted to shisha. Because, it is to expensive to buy them on a daily bassis. but, for those of you who loves shisha, my suggestion to you is to take it easy.

Movie Review : Slumdog Millionaire
One day, Jamal registered at a quiz program “Who Wants To Be a Millionaire” and he could answer all the questions except the last question given because all of it is related to his past life. When the last question is given, the time is up, so they continue the show on the next day. Because of this, he is considered cheating by the MC and he was interrogated by the police. The police force him to accept that he is cheating, but Jamal doesn’t want to accept it because he doesn’t cheat. When the day come for the last question, Latika who already married wanted to meet Jamal and left her husband. She wanted to escape from her husband house and finally she’s successful to escape with the help of Salim. After Latika’s husband who is a gangster knows that Latika met Jamal, he tried to search for Salim. Salim know that he will be killed, so he prepared himself with a gun and successfully killed Latika’s husband before he died. Finally, Jamal met with Latika again and they both live happily. This Indian movie is a bit weird because there is no dance, not like other Indian movie. But overall the movie has a good view of moral with the mixture of love and difficulty to survive in life. And the answer to the question is D. It is written, because all the question in the quiz are related to Jamal’s past life.
The Millionaire in India: Movie Review
As it was time for the show to end for the night, the police arrested him on suspicion of cheating. Jamal was desperate to prove his innocence, so he tells the story of his life in the slum where he and his brother grew up, of their adventures together on the road, of vicious encounters with local gangs, and of Latika, the girl he loved and lost. Each chapter of his story reveals the key to the answer to one of the game show's questions. Intrigued by Jamal's story, the jaded Police Inspector begins to wonder what a young man with no apparent desire for riches is really doing on this game show.
In each chapter of his story, he and his brother had certain hardships of overcoming it. During the raid, they had to run and save themselves from being killed. When they were escaping, they met a girl named Latika. Then, they worked at a dump station and were adopted by a stranger, he gave them food, water and shelter. Jamal’s brother assisted him as a watch dog. When Jamal’s brother found out the stranger’s plan, he told Jamal and tried to escape together on a train with Latika but she did not make it. They stole the food on the train and sold them to the passengers to earn a living. As time flies, they grew up. They went to save Latika from her work place and Jamal’s brother killed the stranger, who adopted them, with a revolver.
After the incident, Jamal’s brother decided to work under a gangster. Then Latika was stolen from Jamal by his brother. Thus, they were separated. After that, Jamal went to the millionaire game show.
When I watched this movie, I was able to imagine the life in India. How the Indians overcame poverty, how they were treated by another religion. More importantly, this movie had taught us the importance of life and knowledge, the experience of poverty, the resolve of trying to live and results of following the path of a gangster. In conclusion, Slumdog Millionaire is a movie that is both entertaining and powerful. I enjoyed this movie and it was funny, emotional and exhilarating.
India Movie Review
I think this movie themes are about love and fate. The story tells you of how cruel the world can be, but at the end there will be a hope. The story is about someone who never give up in his life, even though he face many problems. And with the help of his luckyness, he overcome his harsh life to a new good life.
The moral that can I take from the movie is if you are a man, you can’t give up until your life has ended. Which means you must struggle to life even it is very hard. Because after darkness there will be light. After hardwork there will be a good result. I think the moral that I can take from the movie is only that. Because the rest of the story is kind of bullshit. Because how come there is a coincidence that happen so smoothly. Especially in answering the who wants to be a millionaire question, that the question is related to your childhood. If it is really happen in real life, then you just only need to do a little work and leave the rest to luck. But overall, it is a good movie among other India movie that I know.

It Is Written
From my observation, I feel that this movie is mostly about life and the difficulties one must face during it. In Jamal’s case, he is put in very difficult conditions; it depicts how we must survive in the harshest circumstances. The film is also a sort of rags to riches story told in a modern way. Of course another major theme to this movie is love and destiny, which I think appeals to a lot of us, the idea of such true and epic love between two people who are meant for each other. Another thing I noticed, the film in a way tells us that good things happen to good people. Jamal, though he’s lived a harsh life he is still a very kind and loving person and in the end he was able to gain everything he had ever dreamed of. In contrast, his brother Salim was bitter about his life and this caused him to be a morally grey person who made many questionable choices. In the end he had to take responsibility for all he had done and this resulted in his less than stellar life ending. I think we all believe that Jamal will go on to live an incredibly happy life with the girl of his dreams along with the small fortune he had just acquired.
I enjoyed this film immensely. I thought that story was told in a very cool way and it had a mix of everything drama, action, love and basically life. Moreover it also gives you a sort of lesson on life. It had a very exciting story which was both heart breaking and exhilarating. It unfolded like a modern day epic fairy tale. I also loved the dancing in the closing credits, a great way for Hollywood to pay homage to Bollywood. The actors were all amazing, especially given they are relative newcomers to the industry. This film well deserves an Oscar nomination.
Slumdog Millionaire : Moral view
Since everyone has already reviewed the story, I think I'll give the moral about the film and my opinion about it.
From what I've watched, this film tells us not to give up and work hard to achieve the turning point in your life, from slumdog into a millionaire. We don't need to be genius to be success; all we need is experience in life and hard work. In order to survive in the harsh social environment, we must not give up and work hard. Jamal and Salim however, do some dirty works to survive, but we shouldn't follow it. What we should follow is their determination to live and not giving up their live easily.
Next, we need to be earnest. See Salim do dirty works in the rest of his life, in the end he regretted what he has done and died sacrificing himself to free Latika. On the other hand, Jamal becomes a millionaire and he can be together with his lover. Moreover, when he was interrogated by the police he answer honestly, proves that he didn’t cheat and the police understand him and let him go. Finally Jamal can continue the "who wants to be a millionaire" quiz and win.
Friendship issues can be found almost in all scenes. We can see great bonds between Jamal and Salim, how they help each other and their relationship breakdown because of human greed in this movie. There are many conflicts between these two, but in the end Salim knows that he was wrong and he gives everything he could do to save his friend, Jamal and Latika. Even though their relationship clashed, Jamal and Salim still have faith in each other. We can see that Jamal tried to call Salim to help answering the last question, and Salim gives his life to realize Jamal’s hope.
Another thing that I learnt from this movie is that we shouldn't trust stranger too much. See how Jamal and Malik are taken and cared by Maman at first, but actually he wants to make them as his slave. Also when the presenter trying to crush Jamal's hope by giving the wrong answer, Jamal doesn't trust him and then he use fifty: fifty and choose the opposing answer. His strategy was right and he wins. We could learn a thing or two from this.
In my opinion, this movie has interesting plot about the slice of life and we can learn many things from it. This movie focused more on the serious part and only has few humor parts; therefore it may be boring for some us who doesn’t like serious theme. The last thing that is not forgotten, Indian movies usually has crowdie dance part in it, and this part can be seen on the credits. Overall, this is a good movie if we see it from the moral part.

India Movie
The main actor was named Jamal Malik. He has a older brother named Salim Malik. The movie start with this question, "How can Jamal was able to win twenty million Rupees? A. He's lucky B. He's cheating C. He's genius D. It was written" then the story started. It started where Jamal was being interrogated by two men from the police department it seemed. One of them is turtoring him so he will confess. After that the other man turned on the video about the game "Who wants to be a Millionaire?" (Which I was wondering is there any "Who wants to be a Millionaire" show in India?) which Jamal was attending. He was accused for cheating in the game. That's why he was being interrogated. Then Jamal began to talk about his life and why he can answers the questions.
His story began from while he was playing crikket in airport area which was dangerous. Suddenly two guys chased them out of the area (and for good also) and chased them until they (Jamal and Salim) caught by their mother and were dragged to school. They were given a book about The Three Musketeers and being told to read, but they fought for the book and the teacher slammed them with the book.
Back to the police's office, Jamal continued to talked why he can answer the first question. It was about the famous Indian actor Amitabh Bacchan (if I don't mistaken the name). He said that when he and Salim was working (It's toilet business), the helicopter which bring Amitabh came, then because Jamal made the customer angry, he was locked inside the toilet by Salim. Because he couldn't get out and he wanted to take Amitabh autograph, so he ..., anyway, he got the autograph, but Salim sold it.
Next question was about the India's crest. There was a sentence under the crest's picture (I forgot what picture). Since he didn't know, he used a lifeline option, "Asks the Audience". The officer asked him why he couldn't answer it because even primary school students know the answer. And Jamal asked back if the officer knew the price of a food and the name of a seller. The officer can't answer right so they didn't continue interrogating about it.
Next was about the god Rama is holding in his right hand. Jamal said that when they were with their mother washing clothes, a group of people came brought sticks and began killing the moslem people. Their mother got killed, but they escaped. When they were escaped, Jamal saw a statue of god Rama, holding a bow and arrows in his right hand. They also found a girl named Latika and escaped together.
Next was about a "song" which made by a poet named who. Jamal said that there was a kind man who brought them to his place and taught them how to sing the "song". One night, Salim and another kid was brought into a place and the kid was told by the man to start sing the "song". He said it was good and suddenly the kid was given cloroform. He was made blind by the man. After that he told Salim to get Jamal. When Jamal was being tested for his capability, Salim splashed the cloroform to the man's face, brought Jamal and Latika away. They escaped by train but Latika was left behind.
Next was about the face on one hundred American Dollar. Jamal said that when he was seeking Latika, he found his friend Arvind, which has been blinded, sang in an alleyway. That's when Jamal gave a hundred dollar to him and he asked Jamal if the money was real, asked to described the face on the money. And he said that it was Benyamin Franklin. Then Jamal asked him about Latika whereabouts, take Salim and went to find her.
Next was about the inventor of revolver. Jamal said that he knew it when he and Salim were seeking Latika. They found her in a house and tried to brought her away when suddenly the man (who taught them song) came. Then Salim taken out a revolver, threatening him to step aside. And before they escaped, he shot him.
After Jamal has told them, the officer asked how and why he attend the show. He said that when he has rescued Latika, Salim booted him out, told him to go away. Then years later, he had a job as a helper in a kind of telephone office. Then he was asked to help someone for some minutes with his work. then he seeked out the name Salim Malik phone number and tried them one by one. After he found him, Jamal was told to meet him in a constructing place where after that he was been told to come at Salim's place. One morning, Salim went out and Jamal tracked him all the way to the a house where he found Latika. Then Jamal went into the house and engage into a conversation with Latika. While they were talking, Latika opened the television showing "Who wants to be a Millionaire" and suddenly the owner of the house, a gangster boss came in and changed the channel, also told him to get out. Latika told Jamal to get out quickly so he wouldn't face any trouble. That's where Jamal thought that by joining the show, he could find Latika. Then he told her to meet him at train station. The next day, when she found him, suddenly Salim and some men grabbed her away and Jamal couldn't chase them.
Next was about the legendery crikket player who scored the highest in history. That's when they were having a break from the show while the presenter and Jamal went to toilet. The presenter and him were having a talk, said that Jamal could be winning the show. Then the presenter went out after washed his hand. Jamal, when washed his found a hint left by the presenter showing that the answer is B. After that they continued the show. But rather than choosing B, Jamal chose D after using lifeline option, "Fifty : Fifty". He got that right and that's where the time is over so they must continue next time. After that Jamal was called by the presenter and when the presenter brought him out, the police grabbed him and taken him away. The man who was there asked the presenter why he was taken away. The presenter said that he was cheating because he has given him an answer (What kind of reasoning is that?).
Then the interrogation was over and Jamal was back on the show. At that time Latika and Salim was watching the show and Salim told her to meet him. She said that if she go, the boss will get mad, but he said that he will take care of him and gave her the car key and his handphone. Then she rushed to the studio but get caught in traffic jam, because everyone has stopped and watched Jamal so she came off the car and joining the crowd. Jamal was given a question about The Three Musketeers, Athos, Porthos, and who. But he didn't know because he didn't read the book at all. Then he used the last lifeline option, "Phone a Friend". The presenter asked whose number was it and he said that it was his brother and the only number he knew. Latika realized that it was the handphone and rushed back to the car. After ringing for so long, in the last second, she took the call and Jamal was surprised to know that it was Latika who took the call. After some short questions, the presenter reminded of the time and then Jamal asked Latika what was the answer. But she said that she didn't know. Then Jamal made a brave choice and he won twenty million Rupees!!! At the same time, Salim took out the gangster boss but he died shot by the other gangster.
The next day, Jamal was waiting for Latika at train station. Then he saw her waiting at the other side and rushed quickly. In the end he could meet his love (And they kissed). Then the question before was showed again and this time it gave the answer. "How can Jamal was able to win twenty million Rupees? A. He's lucky B. He's cheating C. He's genius D. It was written", it's "D. It was written".
I was wondering there are no dance because I always see dance part in India movie. Well, after the question, there were part that the actors and actresses dancing altogether.
Why do I make this long article? We have been told to make a blog about the theme of the movie so here it is. I think that the theme is "Life experience is the best teacher" as Jamal could answer most of the questions by relying on his experience.
Movie Review : Slumdog Millionaire
Jamal Malik is young man from the slums of Mumbai. He is participating on Who Wants to be a Millionaire and luckily he has made it to the final question. Unfortunately, the police are accusing him of cheating because Jamal is the only person who can answer until the last question. Actually, he could guess all of the answer because the questions are related to his childhood. While he is being interrogated, there are some flashbacks about Jamal’s miserable childhood.
Jamal and his brother, Salim, live in a slum of Mumbai. Their mother dead because there was an attack from people whose religion is different. Jamal and Salim have to survive from the hell of India. In their journey, Jamal and Salim are accompanied by a beautiful girl name Latika. First they met Maman, a gangster who uses children to earn money. After they escape from Maman (without Latika), Jamal and Salim start earning money by stealing food in a train, selling goods, become a tour guide in Taj Mahal, and etc. Until finally they grow up and become an adult. They have a different job. Salim, who is brave and harsh, become a pupil of Jave (a mafia). On the other side, Jamal, who is calm and considerate, become a waiter at call center.
Actually there are two themes on this movie. The first one is about Jamal efforts to find his love, Latika. Even though they are separated, but they still can meet each other. The movie told that you won’t lose your true love if you put all of your desire and effort in it. The other theme that the director wants to tell in Slumdog Millionaire is about life in India. In India, most of the people live in poverty. Because of the poverty problem, the children can’t get a well education. At young age, some of children don’t go to school, but they become a beggar. Another thing that we can conclude from the movie is there are still many slums area in India. Other problem that we can see from the movie is most of the gangsters can conquer all of they want. The India Government should solve all of these problems.
In my opinion, the movie is very interesting especially the scene where Jamal guess the last question. It makes the audience become curious. What make Slumdog Millionaire different with other movie is because it is served with flash-forward plot. The flash-forward idea is amazed me. The best thing in this movie, it gives you a lot of information about how hard live in India. Last but not least, this is a very good and interesting movie.
Movie Review : Slumdog Millionaire
This movie, in my opinion, is about life, spirit and love. The story tells you of how harsh the world can be, but they never seem to bother and fight on. The story is about how someone can make the best of their miserable life, how they turn lemons into lemonade. The spirit of Jamal in this movie are truly admirable and we are all have to realize how lucky we are with what we have right now. Because I am sure many people are suffering like they do as we speak. The story is also about the love connection between Jamal and Latika, how Jamal would risk his life just to see her again and rescue her. But, for me, the movie is more about telling the harsh life conditions and spirit to keep fighting. The love story is just a way to make this movie more commercial.
Another thing that make me so interested in this movie, is because I have been to India. And the condition in India is very harsh indeed. I mean, the beggars are everywhere. My tour guide told me stories of how homeless people would freeze to dead on the street in winter and how the government would only send trucks to collect their bodies.
Overall, I think this is a very touching and powerful movie. People could really learn from this film. Great director, great story line, great script and awesome actors.
A Strange Movie from India
The movie’s duration is about two hours. It is a movie from India, but English is the mostly used language, with a little Hindi (when Hindi is used, there will be subtitles). At first, I did not really understand about the storyline, which is a bit complicated. Later, I realized that the story is actually about love.
The main character is Jamal Malik, a young man from India. He has an older brother, named Salim. They have experienced miserable life in their childhood. Live in a slump area which is also very crowded, attacked by officers, raided by people whose religion is different (Jamal and Salim are Moslems); those are the things happened to both of them. Once, they have to escape from Maman, a wicked man who is taking advantage from poor children to earn money; he is a type of man who does everything in order to fulfill his ambition. In that escape, the brothers lose their precious friend, Latika. They are growing and their mind is formed. Both of them have personalities which are unique to each other. Jamal is calm and considerate, while Salim is really brave and harsh. Although they often quarrel, but actually they love each other as a family. When they have become adults, Jamal has an unpleasant experience. He participates in a quiz called “Who Wants to be a Millionaire?” Most of the questions can be answered correctly by Jamal. A person seems to be not happy with Jamal’s success, so he accuses that Jamal is cheating. Because of that, Jamal must pass an awful interrogation. In the end, he is able to win the twenty million Rupees and meets his love, Latika.
I think this movie’s story is a bit complicated and hard to understand if we do not really follow it from the beginning. With this movie, we can get a picture of life in India, especially the poor people’s. The language is sometimes not clear; I miss some conversations because the English is strange. What I do not like about this movie is the violence. There are a lot of violence showed, for example, when they are raided by some people, a person is burned alive, and many other scenes. In short, this movie is not good enough and disappointing.

Movie Review : YES MAN !
This movie is a very fun movie ! And it is very hilarious ! I watched this movie after doing that final presentation for programming principals and this movie really help me to relax and forget about University. Jim Carey is one of kind actor, i have to say that there is nobody could replace him on every movies his on. He is just so hilarious ! I think he is my 2nd favorite artist in the world ( my favorite artist is Adam Sandler ). But, the real talking point of this movie is Zoey Dechanel. She play as Jim Carey's new girlfriend in this movie. She was very beautiful in this movie, i would watch that movie again just to see her. She has played in some other movies like the happening, but i dont really pay to much attention to her in that movie so i didnt realize how cute she is. For the guys, i suggest you check it out, if you dont like the movie, at least you would enjoy 100 minutes of Zoey Dechanel.
To sum things up, i think this movie is a must watch. probably the funniest movie i watch since Night at the Museum ( but i haven't watch Bed Time Story ). So if you looking for a laugh than you have your movie. I give this one 4,5 stars out of 5.
MOVIE Review : Bolt
The Movie is really good, i think it is one of the best cartoon i watched in a while. But i haven't watch Madagascar 2 ( i heard it is very funny, cant wait to check it out ). The movie Bolt have a solid plot and story line, that is why i like it so much. Because many cartoon today don't have a decent plot and story line, and just trying to give us 'american' jokes that most of the time i dont really understand.
So to Conclude, i really think that Bolt is a good movie and worth to watch. If i'm a professional movie critics i would give this one a 4 out 5 stars, because the jokes are funny and still have both solid plot and story line - whitch is rare now days for cartoon movies-. So i suggest you guys check it out.

A Fact About Chimpanzee
It is said that chimpanzee is an intelligent animal. A research found that a young chimpanzee is more superior than human in memory. The experiment shows that a young chimpanzee can memorize numbers from 1 to 9 very quickly, which can not be done by human.

Game Journal : Assassin
The game idea i think is cool and very innovative.
In summary each 'assassin' is given a target, so each 'assassin' must hunt for their 'target' with their 'weapon'.The target is another 'assassin' who play the game. Upon successful assassination the assasin will be given a new target usually the victim target. For who is targeted by another assassin you could defend yourself and claim a 'kill'.
I'm thinking going to host a little trial game if 5-10 people want to join.
Of course with some changes to the rules. Everyone can join including the lecturer if they want to. I hope you will join.

My Holiday
However during the brief periods of time that were free, I opted to relax and stay home instead of going out as that would require more energy and result in tiredness. I did go to malls in my area, but I only stayed for small amounts of time, mostly just to eat. At home I was able to do quite a lot of reading, aside from the technology book we had to read for the book review, I managed to finish a hilarious novel by David Sedaris and am now on the verge of finishing “The Time Traveler’s Wife” which I must say is a very interesting read and very hard to put down. I was also able to listen to a lot of music albums, which turned out to be among the best albums of 2008 in my opinion. They include Ra Ra Riot’s “The Rhumb Line” and Bon Iver’s “For Emma, Forever Ago”. If you are interested in the indie/alternative genre, then I advise you to really give these albums a listen, they are marvelous.
This is also I think the first holidays ever that I did not go to the cinemas to watch a movie, not that there is nothing interesting to see, just that it was hard to find the time to do so. However, I did watch movies at home on dvd. One particular high light was a 2004 movie called Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind. It had such an amazing and original concept. It was also funny but incredibly moving. It has definitely become one of my favourites.
So, that pretty much sums up what I have been doing in the last two weeks. Even though it was brief, I did manage to do the things I love but I am really looking forward to a break with no assignments!

Story of my holiday....
Holiday will end soon.. actually today is the last day of the holiday.. about my holiday, I didn't enjoyed it fully because you know... all the homework.. including programming which is the hardest...
we have two weeks of holiday right?? as for me, in the first week, I used that week to meet and do the programming project with my friends. we had 2 meetings, the first one was in Senayan Plaza and the last one was in Puri Indah Mall. we also had chat to talk about the project before I go to sleep at night.
The next week, before the new year, I helped my dad, to clean his room in his work place. I packed lots of heavy books inside a plastic box, and move them to the car. In the night, I helped my mom to make a preasentation slide and I also have to continue my project....
On December 31, I went to my friend's house and gather with my frineds from high school. we made a BBQ there and watched some fireworks from the second floor of my friend's house... it was nice...
The last 3 days, me and my family stayed in Borobudur Hotel... too bad I didn't really enjoyed it because I have to do my other homework in the hotel...
yeah, that's all my holiday story... I hope in the next holiday I will have an enjoyable holiday ^^
Fart
There is a shcoking fact that farts can be burnt !! It may be caused that it contains mercaptans. It is said that some people have tried burning their farts. I believe we should not try doing that because it may be dangerous.
There is a website which provides facts about farting. I found many unexpected facts from that website. Also, there are facts which are funny. This is an example (direct quote from the website) :
Is it true that some people never fart?
No, not if they're alive. People even fart shortly after death.Source : http://www.heptune.com/farts.html
